Joe Devine

Joe was a co-founder of Ion Equity and has played a leading role in most of its investments and exits. He has filled several Non-Executive and Executive positions on portfolio companies.

Joe has been involved in developing integration strategies, business models reviews, and portfolio exits in the energy and services sectors and more recently in the film studio space. He is involved with Shelbourne Football Club and in a significant bog remediation/rewetting project as well as forestry services and a telecom outsourced services start up in Kosovo.

Prior to co-founding Ion Equity, Joe was a Director at Ernst & Young where his clients included some of Ireland’s leading companies. He has experience advising growing companies on how to achieve their business objectives. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants as well as an Associate of the Institute of Taxation.
