Co-operation Ireland CEO Peter Sheridan has spoken of his life and exerperience in peacebuilding in the latest Corrymeela podcast.

Corrymeela is a community based in Ballycastle, County Antrim, founded before The Troubles, that works to break down barriers between communities across Ireland.

In the podcast Peter talks about his hopes that within the recent policital upheaval, opportunities will arise to help with the reconciliation process.

“Too often in this place, we hold our own side dear, to the exclusion of other people’s views. And, you know, if we want to make this place work, and we want to get on, then we have to be prepared to accept that there are people who have different viewpoints.”
