Everyone at Co-operation Ireland would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the family of our Cork Committee member Derek Nolan, who has passed away.

Derek  was a founder member of the committee, set up in the early days of the organisation in the 1980s. A former teacher in the city’s North Monastery Secondary School, Derek was also a former president of the Association of Secondary Teachers Ireland and Peace Commissioner.

His continued support and enthusiasm was greatly appreciated and he will be missed.
