Consular Corps/Association of Northern Ireland Diplomatic Dinner 2022 supported by Invest NI and Randox Health

Consular Corps/Association of Northern Ireland Diplomatic Dinner 2022 supported by Invest NI and Randox Health

The Consular Corps/Association of Northern Ireland (CA-NI) is pleased to announce that the 3rd Diplomatic Dinner, supported by Invest Northern Ireland, is to be held on Thursday 13 October 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Belfast.  The event will bring together Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Senior Diplomats from around the world to Northern Ireland and provide an opportunity to celebrate the increasing multiculturalism and diversity of Northern Ireland society.

CA-NI, established in 2003, has members representing over 40 countries including 36 Honorary Consulates, 4 Consulates General – United States of America, People’s Republic of China, Republic of Poland and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, having a full resident Diplomatic presence in Northern Ireland – and Ireland as Joint Secretary.

These Honorary Consuls play an important role in developing trade, tourism, educational and cultural links between the countries they represent and Northern Ireland, and along with visiting Ambassadors from London and some of the top businesses in Northern Ireland, the Diplomatic Dinner provides an opportunity for guests to network, and build business relationships between Northern Ireland and international markets.  It is expected that around 250 people will be in attendance.

Co-operation Ireland is the lead charity for peace and reconciliation on the Island of Ireland, and is delighted, once again, to be chosen as beneficiary of the CA-NI Diplomatic Dinner.  All proceeds raised through the event will go towards Co-operation Ireland’s Future Leaders Programme, empowering the next generation of young leaders and peacebuilders, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and motivation to take the lead in addressing challenges in the world around them, and to contribute to building positive relationships between communities across the island and between Ireland and the United Kingdom.   Co-operation Ireland’s goal is to create 500 future leaders over the next five years.

As the regional business development agency, Invest NI’s role is to grow the local economy by helping new and existing businesses to compete internationally, and by attracting new investment to Northern Ireland.

Established in 1982, Randox is the largest healthcare diagnostics company from the UK and Ireland. Randox is principal sponsor of the world’s most famous steeplechase, the Randox Grand National and the birthplace of football, Sheffield United Football Club. For 40 years Randox have been focusing on the provision of timely and accurate testing to identify risk to health, improve clinical diagnoses and promote preventative healthcare.

The Diplomatic Dinner is being organised as a black tie or traditional dress evening and will take the format of a welcome drinks reception commencing at 18.30 followed by a 4-course dinner with guest speaker and entertainment.  Tables of 10 at a cost of £1,000 or individual places at £120 are available.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available, providing an ideal opportunity for businesses to showcase their company at this prestigious event.

Please contact Winnie Orr or Terry O’Neill for further information, to book a table or places or to discuss sponsorship opportunities.
