NEW COURSE: Co-operation Ireland Future Leaders introduce Youth Activism course

CALLING ASPIRING ACTIVISTS

Later this month Co-operation Ireland will be launching our new YOUTH ACTIVISM course, as part of our Co-operation Ireland Future Leaders programme. This OCN accredited course promises to give aspiring young activists an opportunity to develop a ‘toolbox for activism’, by honing skills in lobbying, policy writing, communication and campaign planning.

This course provides aspiring young activists with a framework for effective activism and we welcome young people from all political backgrounds and aspirations.

What The Course Contains

  • Introduction to Activism
  • Skills Development Sessions and workshops on Lobbying, Communication, Leadership and Campaign Planning
  • Opportunity to deliver social action project
  • Invitation and travel expenses to CIFL Connect Day at Queen’s University Belfast
  • Invitation and travel expenses to attend CIFL Showcase in May at Titanic Belfast

Closing date 5pm, Tuesday 24 January. Course begins on Wednesday 25 January.

How To Register

Time commitment is one evening per week for 2 months, starting Wednesday 25th January.
