CIFL2023 | New ‘Passion Projects’ announced as part of Co-operation Ireland Future Leaders programme
Co-operation Ireland is excited to introduce the new ‘Passion Projects’ concept to Co-operation Ireland Future Leaders, our flagship youth leadership and peacebuilding programme.
The CIFL Passion Projects will provide enhanced opportunities for young people to develop their leadership skills, gain qualifications, boost employability, whilst also creating change in issues they’re passionate about at local, regional and national levels.
The CIFL Passion Projects will support emerging leaders across the island to turn their passion into practical action.
This year CIFL candidates will have an opportunity to join ‘Passion Project’ groups, to lobby and campaign about issues they are passionate about, whilst also gaining NOCN qualifications in leadership, political lobbying and communication. Co-operation Ireland will also give emerging leaders an opportunity to network and connect with their peers, business leaders and prominent political representatives.
Based on feedback and consultation with previous programme participants, the four core passion streams are:
