Futures Project Futures is a project run by Belfast Met in partnership with the NI Housing Executive. It aims to engage 800 young people aged 16-24 in a six-month personal development, good relations and citizenship programme over a 4-year period in Greater Belfast and the Lurgan/Craigavon areas. Young people will participate in outdoor activities, residential experiences, issue based workshops and gain a Level 2 OCN qualification. Peace Bytes Peace Bytes is a unique initiative that will engage young people aged 14 – 25 who are alienated in their community and on the fringes of society.  Our Unique ICT creative approach will be used alongside standard and creative youth work methodologies with a focus on personal development, good relations, peer leadership and citizenship.  All participants will be fully supported by a team of professional youth workers whose goal is to address any perceived barriers to a positive physical and mental wellbeing.  We aim to raise the capacity of not only young people, but the community as a whole & leave a legacy of future leaders who will promote peace and reconciliation.  TIDES Training

The Third Space Project (TSP) The Third Space Programme is an innovative and creative model developed by Extern and Verbal to engage with vulnerable young people across NI and the Border Regions of Ireland.  This 26-week programme will work with 800 young people across three age bands 14-16, 16-18 and 19-24, over a four-year period, focusing on personal development, good relations and citizenship.  Working in a creative learning environment the programme uses an “Interventive Relationship Model” to build meaningful relationship with young people that nurtures and develops individuals at their own pace. This programme will create a safe space for young people to come together and share commonality and build support systems to enable them to thrive in their own communities.  The Verbal Arts Centre

Strive Strive is a programme for young people aged 14 to 24. Youthscape The Youthscape programme is a cross-border, cross-community intervention programme. It operates in Counties Tyrone, Fermanagh and Donegal covering the 5 areas of Omagh, Enniskillen, Dungannon, Ballybofey and Letterkenny and delivering a proactive, youth focused programme to 800 marginalised young people. The Youthscape programme focuses on a ‘co-design’ and ‘person-centred’ approach to learning and development; providing participants with the opportunity to input into and form the structure and make-up of the programme. Transformative Education for Positive Relationships Project (TRANSFORM) TRANSFORM seeks to engage with young people aged 14-24 supporting them to fulfil their potential, develop skills, confidence, gain OCN qualifications and contribute positively as active citizens in their communities. Geographic areas to be targeted will include; Antrim, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone; Derry/Londonderry, Armagh, Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Donegal.Approximately 480 young people from Protestant, Catholic and minority groups will participate in youth work programmes that will explore the themes of Personal Development, Good Relations and Active Citizenship. It is anticipated that all participants will have gained volunteering experience and have participated in a sporting event from a tradition different from their own and will have participated in a cultural/arts event tackling issues of sectarianism, racism and discrimination.  Youth Initiatives

Amplify AMPLIFY is a new youth-led initiative, delivered through an experienced cross border youth work partnership. This creative partnership will maximise the reach to young people who have fallen on hard times & who experience volatile & chaotic lives & where their vulnerability is heightened.
