On Tuesday 4th February 2020 an invited audience and members of the LEGaSi project gathered in Ten Square Belfast to celebrate and share the work of the Co-operation Ireland project LEGaSi.
Invited guests form the community, the PSNI, local government, Department of Foreign Affairs and the Northern Ireland Office and various members of the press listened to participants tell their stories as mambers of the project over the last 4.5 years.
We heard the background and context of the project from Co-operation Ireland’s CEO Peter Sheridan OBE and how it was funded by the Ireland Funds to deliver a capacity building leadership project to PUL working-class communities across Northern Ireland.
